The IQ's small footprint for docks and the self-emptying feature are nice touches. However, if you wish to change floor levels on the map or create no-go zones you'll have manually reset it to do this, which is a bit of an inconvenience.
The IQ's app has some advanced mapping and automation capabilities but it's missing no-go zones, which are available on iRobot models. Its smart-pathing system allows for superior maneuverability and the high-pile feature of its carpet cleaning mode is efficient however it can be stuck on rug tassels.
During our tests, we discovered that the IQ was able to handle pet hair effectively. It was able to remove a large amount of debris on floors that were not bare, and a fair amount of rug with a medium pile. It was less effective on shag carpet, where it struggled to get at dirt and dust embedded in the fibers. It was capable of maneuvering the legs of chairs, tight spaces, and the base of a wooden IKEA step stool. It was slower on flooring that was not fully covered but it was able to recover speed and performed better than other robots we have tested.
The IQ is a more suitable option for most users than the iRobot Roomba. It has a bigger dustbin and a longer battery lifespan, and is better at navigating around obstacles. It has a mopping tool that can clean up sticky messes. On the other side the iRobot is built better, has fewer parts that require maintenance or replacement and has lower recurring costs and creates virtual no-go zones through its companion app. It is able to continue cleaning from where it left off, even if its battery runs out before it finishes. The iRobot can also be controlled using voice, which is a major benefit for many users.
Eufy 11S
The eufy RoboVac 11S robot vacuum isn't one of the most feature-rich models, but it does offer powerful cleaning power at a low cost. It's designed for those who don't need a complicated mapping system or app to control the device. This robot can run for more than an hour and includes a remote, cleaning tool, AC power adapter, charging base and extra filters.

The device has a tendency to hit furniture and people along its course. However, it is able to detect obstacles using sensors. It ceases and emits a loud ring when it encounters an obstruction. You can then manually steer the device around it and get it to work again.
The BoostIQ mode is a great feature of the Eufy11S. It allows you to set the robot up to automatically adjust the suction strength based on the type of floor and the level of the mess. It's also simple to use the remote to direct the 11S to where you want it to move.
